Skateboard Manufacturing Waste
The team received maple veneer waste from a local skateboard manufacturing facility with the goal of finding a way to repurpose the excess materials. The Circular Solutions team explored how this production waste could be transformed into durable, functional products, demonstrating how circular design can reduce material waste while creating value-added products. Currently, the team’s goal is to use these reclaimed materials to create pickleball paddles.



Biogas Digester Project
The Biogas Digester Project focuses on designing a small scale system to convert agricultural waste into a more sustainable greenhouse heating option. In partnership with a local farm, the Circular Solutions team is exploring feedstock management, system design, and safe integration with existing heating systems to reduce costs and reliance on fossil fuels. This project demonstrates how organic waste can be transformed into a sustainable energy resource through circular design.
